n the last five months the Kenya team has been working hard to equip the borehole and make it operational for the community. Last week the Team was able to sell water to the community for the first time!
Program Coordinator, Michael Ndambuki, reflected and said "Our first day was officially on Monday the 4th. We had a good number of people, an estimate of over 150 families, hotels, and different places of working areas within the estate. Those who drank and used our water came back saying the water was better compared to other sources of water. I am sure as the rest of the week goes on the number will increase!"
We are grateful for the support of our donors! By ensuring water affordability, we seek to empower individuals and families, enabling them to meet their basic needs without sacrificing their financial stability. The revenue generated from water sales will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding the water source, ensuring long-term water security for the entire community.
